2854360 - Team folders in SAP Analytics Cloud Cannot be deleted

Symptom

  • Delete icon is grayed out when trying to delete team folders within the System Folder

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to SAP Analytics Cloud.
  2. Create a new team.
  3. Notice that a new team folder is created.
  4. Try to delete this folder.
  5. Notice that it is not possible to delete this team folder.

Cause

  • This behavior is by design.
  • The only possible way to delete team folder is to delete the team. 

Resolution

  1. Logon to SAP Analytics Cloud.
  2. Go to Security >> Teams.
  3. Delete the team which is not needed anymore.

If it is required to delete the team folder only:

  1. Vote on this improvement request.
  2. Follow it to get updates on when it's implemented.
