Symptom

  • An "infected with signal 11" error in the module memfree() together with a stack trace is reported on the ASE database errorlog:

Current process (0x4ddd0098) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
Address 0x00000000006d55b0 (memfree+0x78), siginfo (code, address) = (50, 0x2930130ef963xxxx)

  • The stack trace may include the following functions:

memfree
proc__deallocmem
proc_clean
des__clean
des__scavenge
des_lwpdescreate
lwp_create

  • The configuration parameter 'enable literal autoparam' is set to 0.
