2832005 - Error when Duplicating Canvas Reports in Report Center - An error was encountered while parsing the response result into json object

After selecting the Duplicate action for a Report - Canvas in Report Center, the following error is displayed:

"An error was encountered while parsing the response result into json object"

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Login and go to Report Center
2. Try to Duplicate any Canvas report

Depending on system load it may work or may exceed the two minute time limit.

The long term fix is planned for the b2011 release.

Workaround 1:

1. Go to Report Center
2. Create a new Canvas report
3. Click on Page > Add Existing Page
4. Search for the report you want to duplicate
5. Select the page
6. Click on Copy
7. You'll notice that your report will have 2 pages now, if you want you can delete the blank page

Workaround 2:

1. Go to Report Center
2. Edit the report you want to duplicate
3. Right click on the query, select "Copy" (sometimes it is necessary to refresh the page)
4. Go to Report Center
5. Create a new Canvas Report
6. Edit the report
7. Paste the query
8. Save the report
