2831944 - Error in app 'Manage Bank Statements' while importing the excel file manually.

While importing the bank statements in a excel file using the app 'Manage Bank Statements', below error occurs:

"Could not import the file: &&&&.xlsx Reason

Reason: Excel line &: Enter a valid Amount/Payment Amount(for example, 1.234.567,89)."

1. Open the app 'Manage Bank Statements'.
2. Click on create and then click on go.
3. Click on 'Import' and attach the excel file to import the excel file manually, after this error occurs.

The error occurs due to the decimal settings maintained in the 'Maintain Business Users' app. Select the CB user used, under 'Reginal settings', if the decimal format is 1,234,567.89, then the import works and for the other two formats it gives the error.

Open The excel file

1. Go to “Data” tab
2. Select all cells with amount
3. Click on “Text to columns”

4. Click on next:

5. Click on next:

6. Select the Column data format to text and click on Finish.

7. The data will be converted to the import format and a green triangle in top left corner can be seen.
