2831210 - Dashboard Filter will always show the Master Data Values

You opened a value help of a filter in one of your dashboards and are wondering about the shown values.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Work Center Analysis and the View Dashboard.
2. Open any dashboard which includes a filter.
3. Click on the value help for the characteristic you would like to select the filter for.
4. You will notice that it shows more values than when you open the value help in the report.

This is the expected system behaviour and is working as designed.

The dashboard filter will always show master data values. The context data is not respected in dashboard filters.
