2819128 - Timestamp Error Shows When Trying to Access I9 Reverification Activity due to Missing Standard Corporate Structure Level [Compliance] - Onboarding 1.0

Symptom

  • Time stamp error when trying to access I9 Reverification Activity 
  • One of the 4 standard Corporate Structure level is missing

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0 - All Versions

Reproducing the Issue

When opening an I9 Reverification Activity of employee, time stamp error shows.

Cause

The panel I9R_ReverificationNot is tightly linked to the 4 standard Corporate Structure Level. If one of the 4 is missing, time stamp error is received when trying to complete Reverification Notification Step.

SAP Standard Corporate Structure Level

  1. Company (DivCode)
  2. Division (LocDistrict)
  3. Department (LocNum)
  4. Location (DeptCode)

Resolution

For Live Customer(s)

We have 2 workarounds to rectify the error, see below on how to make the changes in your system.

 

Workaround 1: Create a Custom Panel (I9R_ReverificationNot)

  1. Disable the 'I9R_ReverificationNot' panel, see KBA 2819642
  2. Re-create 'I9R_ReverificationNot' as a User Defined Panel under Reverification Notification Step, see below details to assist you on creating the panel

    The 'I9R_ReverificationNot' panel is not associated to any system notifications

 

Workaround 2: Corporate Structure Level

Ensure that the below standard corporate structure levels is present in the application

  1. Company (DivCode)
  2. Division (LocDistrict)
  3. Department (LocNum)
  4. Location (DeptCode)
