Symptom
Customer wants to assign two approvers in the same workflow step, the employee's manager and a specific user.
To do it, they use the custom manager as per our KBA attached 2432613 , but when they try to assign two employee in the role, the workflow only arrives to one of them.
This is specific to time off workflows. Everywhere else this configuration works.
Environment
Employee Central, Workflows
Reproducing the Issue
Working:
- Change Personal info, by giving user a middle name
- Workflow NameChange triggers to both custom managers
Not Working:
- Request a Vacation for user.
- Workflow (AbsenceRequest) only triggers to one Custom manager
Resolution
Expected behaviour for this configuration in EC is as follows:
If you select custom manager as approver in the workflow approver role, both custom manager 1 and custom manager 2 will receive the workflow and notifications.
Engineering will fix this with the b1908 release.
