You upload a lead using Data Workbench and you notice that the START_DATE and the END_DATE are filled with default values (START_DATE = current date, END_DATE = current date + 1 month).
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
Go to the Data Workbench work center.
- Select the Import tab.
- Select Insert.
- Search for object: Lead.
- Select Next to perform the import.
Your entries in the START_DATE and the END_DATE fields of the csv file are only considered, when both fields are filled.
When either the start date is empty or the end date is empty in the CSV file, then both dates are filled with the default values: START_DATE = current date, END_DATE = current date + 1 month.
Maintain START_DATE as well as END_DATE to ensure that the lead has the expected values.
