2783708 - Instance not accessible due to error with fingerprint f727d900eb8f5e352e6c0aa87d460b0f8883a68b

Symptom

  • When accessing the instance without SSO, the application error with the fingerprint f727d900eb8f5e352e6c0aa87d460b0f8883a68b is raised;
  • With SSO enabled, the user receive an error message of "Invalid Login". (To assure that is referred to this error it is suggested to disable SSO and check if it shows the fingerprint above)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Try to login to the instance;
  2. Face the error referred on the Symptom. 

Cause

The cause of this issue was that the option ID was not generated for new entries on some picklist.

 Prior to 1908 there was an issue (that it's now fixed) on the picklist center UI that when you create a new picklist entry through the UI, the option ID was not generated for that new entry.

 A picklist with no entry can generate multiple issues on the background as it is as an object without a reference and can trigger the issue described above.

Resolution

The solution is to run a script to generate the option IDs for the new entries without one, then the access should be restored and the issue fixed.

 To correct it, you need to open an incident to component LOD-SF-MDF-PKL, so that Product Support engage engineering team to fix the issue.
