2777129 - Protocol Error: Error [Protocol]: (#73) Forbidden Error [Protocol]: (#403) Forbidden using a live connection with CORS enabled in SAP Analytics Cloud

The following error occurs when trying to create a model or connecting to a model from a live data connection using CORS in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• Protocol Error: Error [Protocol]: (#73) Forbidden Error [Protocol]: (#403) Forbidden
• 503 Service Unavailable / 503 Service Not Available
• 403 Forbidden

These errors also occur in the Chrome console log:

• Uncaught (in promise) e.exports.sap.fpa.ui.infra.service.ExceptionFirefly {status: 73, code: "FIREFLY_ERROR", message: "Protocol Error: Error [Protocol]: (#73) ForbiddenError [Protocol]: (#403) Forbidden", severity: 1, stack:
• Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 (Unauthorized)

When attempting to access the GetResponse URL (i.e. https://SERVERNAME/sap/bc/ina/service/v2/GetResponse), this error occurs in the browser:

• {"error":{"code":11,"message":"ina: Parameter 'Request' is missing."}}

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

Incorrect CORS configuration.

1. Review step 3. f in the Live Data Connection to SAP HANA On-Premise Using a Direct Connection steps.
2. Confirm these settings are enabled:

Allowed Methods: GET, HEAD, POST, OPTIONS

• 2482807 - SAP Analytics Cloud Live connections requiring a Secure HTTPS Browser configuration with CORS enabled
• 2933072 - Error We couldn't connect to your HANA system. Possible causes: Third-party cookies are blocked, or CORS is not configured correctly happens when creating live HANA connection in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
