The manager of sales unit ABC (ABC represents the sale unit) can see forecasts from Sales Unit DEF (DEF represents the sale unit).
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
Go to the Sales work center.
Go to the Forecasts view.
Filter “My Team Forecasts”.
You can see the forecast for Sales Units that you are not manager of.
The access in forecast is employee based, which means if an employee is assigned to the sales units ABC and DEF, these sales units managers would see all forecasts related to the employee, even if he/she is not manager of all these sales units. If an employee is assigned to multiple org units, all the managers have access granted to his/hers forecast independent of the sales unit.
This is the standard behavior of the system. An alternative would be create a default filter in Forecasts view that only displays the data relevant for the user assigned sales unit.
If you need the functionality to restrict managers forecasts per sales unit urgently you may contact your implementation manager to help with such request or approach directly the SAP Cloud Service Center.
