2709869 - Role SYB_USR_SYBASE not created while renaming Java Dialog instance of a FAA


  • You are trying to rename the Java Dialog instance of a Fully Activated Appliance S/4HANA, using the last SWPM version available (at this time Release 1.0 SP 24).
  • HANA itself is running, the ABAP stack has been successfully renamed and is working.
  • The SAP ASE instance has been renamed and is working.
  • But when renaming the Java instance this error is reported from SWPM:
    [...] role != NWUsers.roles.J2EEGuest !ad.locked) { ad.password = masterpwd; } NWUsers.trace("NWUsers.getAccountData(): ", dump_properties(ad)); return ad; } : role SYB_USR_SYBASE is not created yet)   
  • 'Retry' leads to the same.  
  • sapinst_dev log reports similar lines:
