Symptom

  • You notice that a large amount of LOB space is being consumed in a table on Hana
  • Perhaps you have recently cleaned up a large table and notice the space has not been freed on disk
  • Volume utilization remains high, as per checks in note 1870858 HANA Alerts related to file system utilization
  • Reclaim command doesn't help in this case.
