Few users an unable to view the activities, opportunities etc. of a contact in the side pane of outlook add-in. A note "This view is empty" is written. Where as the admin can view the activities.
Reproducing the Issue
Login to outlook add-in with a non admin credentials.
Go to side pane.
Search for a contact and click enter.
You can see the tile of "Opportunities" and "Activites" but the box is empty with the message "This view is empty". Please refer attachments.
The same issue might not be reproducible from admin credntials.
This is because the user is not assigned the relevant WC views under Work Center and View Assignments.
Go to Edit Access Rights for the user and check the Work Center and View Assignments.
Under COD_ACTIVITIES" enable anyone of the follwing:
Logout from the outlook plugin and login again.
- Now Activities section will be enabled.
If any of the other Values(Opportunity/Lead/Activity/Sales-Quote/Campaign/Sales-Order) gets disabled in the side pane, you can enable the below mentioned values that have been added under WOC Views.
"COD_OPPORTUNITY_WCVIEW" - Opportunity
"COD_MKT_PROSPECTWC" (Both) - Leads
"COD_CAMPAIGN - Campaign
"COD_QUOTE_WCVIEW" - Sales Quote
"COD_SALESORDER_WCVIEW" - Sales Order
