You convert a lead to an account/contact. The creation date in the account/contact is going to be the same as in the lead. However, you did not create the lead and the account the same day.

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Sales work center.
- Go to the Lead view.
- Open any lead that was created in the past.
- Click Actions > Convert to Account & Contact.
- Click Save and Open.
- Check the Created on field inside the new account/contact.
Result: You can see the same creation date as in the lead.
A lean-lead (despite still not being converted) is already considered a customer.
A lean-lead has the status In Preparation. Once you convert it, the status becomes Active and it appears in the Account-OWL and Account-OVS. This change of the status is also visible in the changes-tab.
The created-on date is the original date when the lead was created and does not get changed.
