This article describes why the standard legacy panel (Federal_MA_NewHireInfo) is removed in the application.
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding Product Management team conducted a legal review of our US I-9 Process and with confirmation from Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Support, it was recommended to remove the requirement to verify the Social Security Number (SSN) information of the candidate in the Orientation step; with or without E-Verify enabled.
The Employers are not allowed to force an employee to show the Social Security Number (SSN) information if it is not being used as a List C document.
The Product Management of SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding decided to removed the panel (Federal_MA_NewHireInfo) in 1808 release.
