2685325 - SUM Executes HDB_SHRINK during downtime phases


You are running an upgrade/conversion using Software Update Manager (SUM) tool and you notice that HDB_SHRINK is executed before certain phases of upgrade. You may want to deactivate it if there is enough free memory and shirink is not needed. 
Command similar to following is executed:

EXECUTING /<path>/SUM/abap/../jvm/jre/bin/java -cp /<path>/SUM/abap/bin/<path>/SUM/abap/bin/ HDB_CMD_CLAZZ_NAME=HDBCONS_SHRINK DATABASE_HOSTNAME=<hostname> INSTANCE_NUMBER=<nn> PORT=3<nn>15 JDBC_PATH=/<path>/SUM/abap/bin READ_FROM_STDIN=TRUEclass, parameters received. Start execution. Check HdbCmdOut.log and HdbStdout.txt for further information.
