2685174 - How to Create a Development User to work in SDK

Symptom

You want to know how to create a user to work in Cloud Application Studio tool (SDK) for PDI development activity.

Environment

SAP Cloud Application Studio

SAP Cloud for Customer

SAP Business ByDesign

Resolution

Prerequisites ->

You should have an initial business user. The initial user is provided to you during the tenant provisioning process.

Create Service Agent ->

Go to Business Partner Data for SAP Business ByDesign.
Go to Business Partner for SAP Cloud for Customer.
Click on 'New Service Agent'.
Fill all the mandatory details.
Click on SAVE.
Click on 'Request User' for a business user to be created.
Go to Application and User Management WOC.
Go to Business User View.
Find your user (search with the name given for service agent).
Click on Edit > User Attributes.
Change User ID and Password.

Assign Access Rights ->

Go to Application and User Management WOC.
Go to Business User View.
Find your user with the user ID.
Click on Edit > Access Rights
Assign below Work Centers for PDI Developer User -

PDI_PARTNER_DEVELOMPENT/ Partner Development
ANA_BUSINESSANALYTICS /Business Analytics
Application and User Management

6. Click on SAVE.

7. Login once to frontend to change the password.

Now you can use this user for SDK login.
