When recruiters attempt to intiate the background check, the following error message is displayed:
Error code: E-104 Unable to initiate background check. Reason: Error occurred while processing your request.

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Recruiting
- Open the desired job requisition and candidate
- Select the account and Package
- Click submit
- Error message is displayed
This error is not happening on the SuccessFactors side. The background check initiates request is created and sent to First Advantage and we receive a response message OK back from that. If we receive a Fail message and the Error Code E-104, the error is happening in First Advantage side, so we are not able to identify what is causing it.
Please get in touch with First Advantage and request them to check the affected candidates and the date that the Error Code E-104 occurred to see if they are able to identify what caused the error on their side.
