2678327 - Application Error When Approving Candidate Offer Detail/Offer Approval - Recruiting

Approver receives the following error while trying to approve an offer

Error while routing, Service Application exception occured.Wrapped Exception: FormRoutingException caught: java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.successfactors.workflow.bean.RouteMapBean.hasIFSignitureStep() of a null object loaded from local variable 'routeMapBean'

1. Go to offer approval > click on Approve
2. Notice the following error message:

Error while routing, Service Application exception occured.Wrapped Exception: FormRoutingException caught: java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.successfactors.workflow.bean.RouteMapBean.hasIFSignitureStep() of a null object loaded from local variable 'routeMapBean'

• Error is due to the user approving/rejecting an offer associated to a "closed" Job Requisition
• If a job requisition is already closed, the corresponding offer approval form will be automatically deleted

The solution would be to reopen the job requisition, approve / reject the offer approval then set again the status of the requisition to closed.
