Benefit claim and enrollment import does not consider entitlement amount from eligibility rule.
Employee Central: Global Benefits
Reproducing the Issue
For example, an employee is eligible for INR 1000 for benefit "Food". If the claim import is for INR 1500, it is successful. However, if the employee tries to claim in the UI, then the validation works and an error message is displayed.
Unfortunately, we don't support validations via Import/Export of data, because this feature is used mainly for other scenarios like: initial load of data wherein a validation is not always needed/asked by customers.
This action (import) is possible only by the admin/hr, hence the chance of error by employees is also ruled out.
Please create an enhancement request by following the steps explained in the KBA 2090228 - How to submit enhancement requests for SAP SuccessFactors products. If other customers also vote/request this feature, then the Product Management Team get a good idea of the other use cases to be considered as well.
