2658534 - Encountered "The Current Function cannot be completed due to Network Issue". error message while running Site Statistics for a Specific Date

Symptom

  • Error appears while trying to Run Site Statistics for a specific Date.
  • Unable to get data from Site Statistics for a specific Date.
  • Error Message - "The Current Function cannot be completed due to Network Issue".

Environment

  • Analytics Site Statistics
  • Online Report Designer (ORD)

Reproducing the Issue

  • Home > Analytics > Analytics > Admin > Site Statistics
  • Start Date 19th June 2018
  • End Date 19th June 2018
  • Click on RUN
  • Error Message - "The Current Function cannot be completed due to Network Issue"

Cause

  • This kind of issues encounters when there are huge number of records are present in the Database for the same day.
  • To fetch those many records it gets time out. In this scenario due to Timeout issue, data does not return for Site Statistics.

Resolution

  • Please raise an support incident.
  • Support Team have to create an Engineering Ticket which will be eventually moved to Operation Team to understand how many records and rows are present for the same date in the database via running SQL queries. 
  • Then Engineering will plan to fox the issue.
