2648136 - Unable to Share Personalized View Due to Exception Message

Symptom

The system raises an exception error when you are trying share a personalized report view to another user.

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to RUI and go to the Analysis workcenter.
  2. Go to Reports.
  3. Select any personalized view (which you would like to share).
  4. Click on Share view.
  5. Enter the email address of the end user.
  6. Click on share.

It shows error message 'Technical error occurred: An exception with the type CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause'.

 

Cause

In Business Configuration, Email and Fax settings, 'Send all e-mails to this address' is chosen. In that case all the emails will be sent only to the email address maintained here by default. It is also possible that the domain of the email address is not registered in your system.

Resolution

You need to select option Send All E-mails to Business Partners in the above mentioned Business Activity inorder to send email to the business partners. Also, you need to make sure that you have the domain of email address already maintained under the Allowed Sender E-mail Domains under same activity Email and Fax setting.
