Data missing in a report that has different objects in the query (e.g. Global Job Information, Compensation, etc)
- Some employees are not showing up in a specific report
- SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics (ANA) - All versions
- Advanced reporting
The filters defined in the query via Manage Query filter are excluding some employees
- The Date Options set are not including some employees
The join between the tables is set to Inner
Go to Manage Query Filter
And check if the missing employees match with the defined filter.
For example, if the filter is "Pay Component" in 25, some employees may be excluded because they have a different Pay component.
Check if the Date Options match with the missing employees. For example, some employees may have an effective date in future, but the date of the report is set to Current Date. Please find more information on 2368375 - How to Set Up and Use Date Options in Advanced Reporting
If the report has different objects (e.g. Global Job Information, Compensation, etc.), check the join between them to see whether it is set to Inner or to Left.
Depending on what data the employees have in the system, the Inner join may exclude them because there is no data in the object on the right side.
For example, the employees have data in Global Job Information object, but they do not have Compensation data. In this case, if the join is set to Inner (i.e. fetch data that matches both objects only), they will not appear in the result.
Only the employees with data in both objects will show up in the output. So, the solution in this case is to change the join to Left:
