2638769 - Customer Texts maintenance issue in "Maintain Business Partner" App in S/4HANA Cloud

Symptom

When maintaining Customer Texts in the S/4HANA Cloud App "Maintain Business Partner" the texts cannot be added.

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the App: Maintain Business Partner
  2. Enter the BP number
  3. Choose the Role: Customer
  4. Open the Customer Texts tab (either in general data or in Sales & Distribution)
  5. Select row(s) of text to be edited 
  6. Scroll down and click "Edit Text"
  7. Text is not editable or screen scrolls back up from the edit text button.

Cause

Browser compatibility issue

Resolution

Please ensure that there are not three scroll bars visible on the page by zooming out on the browser.

  1. Open the App: Maintain Business Partner
  2. Enter the BP number
  3. Choose the Role: Customer
  4. Open the Customer Texts tab (either in general data or in Sales & Distribution)
  5. Select first row and press edit text
  6. Text editor will open.
  7. Add Text and save
