You have a product with serial number profile Mandatory on all Logistics & Production Processes. You see that the stock of the product is visible in Stock Overview screen, but not visible in Serial Inventory Overview screen.

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Inbound Logistics work center.
- Navigate to the Common Task view and choose the option Serial Inventory Overview.
- Enter the value in Product ID field and choose the button Go.
You see that the search returns no result.
You have changed the Serial Number Profile field value to Mandatory on all Logistics & Production Processes after receving the product in your warehouse. Once the above change is done the system will create an automated count task and this task will have to be manually confirmed by the warehouse worker. If this system generated count task is not processed from your end, the Serial Inventory Overview will not have any visibility of the stock. This is valid even if you are changing the serial number profile from an older one.
Please note that you will not be able to perform any inventory related activity on the product unless you process the system generated count task and the same is approved by the warehouse manager.
Go to Physical Inventory work center.
Navigate to the Monitoring view and choose the option By PI Count Document.
Choose the advanced filter option and select the check box System Generated.
Choose the Go button.
You will see the system generated count document, select the count document for the relevant product and process the count task against the document.
Once the count task is processed and approved, you will see the product information in Serial Inventory Overview.
