An error message appears during Lead creation : 'Please correct language. <Language ABC> isn't valid'.

Reproducing the Issue
Go to the Sales workcenter.
Go to the Lead view.
- Click on New.
Result : You find that the system defaults a language in the Country field, as well as in the Language field. However, in this case these are not the same.
The system throws an error 'Please correct Language. <Language ABC> isn't valid' (ABC represents the country field value autofilled by the system.)
One of the languages is not allowed as additional language.
When a Lead is created, a Business Partner gets also created in the backend.
Whenever this new Business Partner is created, the language gets defaulted with the last value chosen by the user in the creation process.
The end user has chosen Language ABC in the past, therefore this value gets defaulted whenever this user creates a new Business Partner, and in your system you have not allowed Additional Communication Languages.
It is expected system behaviour by design for leads created without existing account/contact, that the language field is defaulted from the language you used in the last lead you created.
- Go to the Business Configuration workcenter.
- Click on Implementation Projects
- Click on Open Activity List.
- Find and open Additional Communication Languages.
- Tick the checkbox next to Language ABC.
- Save and Close.
