When accessing Catalog 3.0 (via a blank search or a Browse All Courses), if a category is selected, when performing a search it gets erased.

Reproducing the Issue
- Access the Catalog;
- Select the Category under Refine search (for example, Instructor-Led), system displays only the Instructor-Led Items;
- Perform a search using the search bar;
- The previously selected category gets unselected.
The expected behavior is to erase the selected filters when performing a new search.
Currently the Refine by features work filtering the search that was already performed, so when performing a new search, it resets all the options previously selected.
