2589850 - ESH realtime indexing demon job not running


In Enterprise Search, the Real Time job/daemon does not start:

  • In ESH_COCKPIT -> System Settings -> Control Real-Time Indexing, the Process Status is "Stopping (Processing Last Job)".
  • Using the "Start" option in ESH_COCKPIT results in the Process staying in status "Stopping (Processing Last Job)".
  • There is no active ESH_EX_FU_DEMON* job in SM37.



  • SAP_BASIS release independent.
