2575634 - Business Role Restrictions are not Enforced in Add-In for Microsoft Outlook


Users are able to create new accounts with the role Customer through Add-In for Microsoft Outlook although they are restricted by a Page Layout to creating accounts with the role Prospect only.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into Add-In for Microsoft Outlook. 
  2. Click on Add Appointment.
  3. Click Add Reference and select Account.
  4. Click Create.


Page Layout Restrictions are not supported in the Add-In for Microsoft Outlook.


This is the standard system behavior.
