Resolution

Manage Job Profile Competency - Behavior Data via User Interface

1. Go to Admin Center -> Manage Job Profile Content

2. Select "Competency" -> Select specific Competency -> Click "Assign Behavior"

3. Create a Behavior

a. Provide a "Behavior" Name

* Notes:

Behaviors Translation will be based on the select competency local.
Competency Behavior, it is a best practice to make sure that all Behavior Names are unique to make sure that user won’t encounter several issues during the mappings to other entities.

4. Click "Save" and once the user is on Competency Level. Click "Save Competency"

Result:

Manage Job Profile Role Data via Import File

1. Download “Competency Behavior” Template

Go to Admin Center> Manage Job Profile Content Import and Export > Select Competency Behavior File Template

Note: A confirmation box will appear to ask if the user want to download the template along with the data. User may select “No” if they only want the template file and “Yes” if otherwise.

2. Open the generated Competency Behavior CSV File to provide all Competency Behavior records

Note: User may identify the Competency GUID by doing the following:

Checking the Competency GUID in Manage Job Profile Content

Go to Admin Center > Manage Job Profile Content> Competency > Search for the Competency or Filter it by Competency Library> Look for it GUI

Checking the Competency GUID by using the Competency Export File

Go to Admin Center > Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export > Export “Competency” Data.

Go to Admin Center > Monitor Job > Download “CompetencyEntity_MDFExport..”File

Sample:

behaviors.behaviorName.defaultValue: Default Behavior Name

behaviors.behaviorName.en_GB: Translated Behavior Name for other Local Language ( Must be Unique)

behaviors.description.defaultValue: Default Behavior Description

behaviors.description.en_GB: Translated Behavior Description for other local language

behaviors.status: (A) – Active or (I) - Inactive

behaviors.externalCode: Null ( This is system generated)

behaviors.subModule: Null

3. Import the CSV File

Go to Admin Center > Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export > Select Type: “Competency - Behavior” > Add Behavior CSV File > Select a File Encoding Type.
Click “Import”

Note: User may “Validate” the records first to identify if the import will be successful or if there are some issues with the file/records.

Step 4: Validate the Import

Go to Admin Center > Manage Job Profile Content > Competency > Select the Competency with a Behavior
