2547554 - Marketing Permissions are Not Set Automatically

Symptom

Marketing Permissions for contacts are not set automatically when a new contact is created.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the  Customers work center.
  2. Go to the Contacts view.
  3. Click on New.
  4. Create a new Contact
  5. Click on Save.
  6. Open newly created contact.
  7. Go to Marketing Permissions facet.

Marketing Permissions are not automatically set.

Cause

Since 1705 upgrade, marketing permissions are not set automatically due performance issues.

Resolution

This is the expected system behaviour.

You can set the marketing permissions manually:

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Go to the Contacts view.
  3. Open a contact.
  4. Go to the Marketing Permissions tab.
  5. Click in Add.

The marketing permissions now appear in your contact.
