User is unable to Cancel Confirmation for a Service Order or Sales Order in Customer Demand as the Cancel Confirmation button is greyed out.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go To Outbound Logistics Control Work Center
- Go To Customer Demand View
- Show All Orders -> Find Service Order ABC
- Select the Line Item -> Actions -> Cancel Confirmation
Once the user has released the Service Order ABC line items in full, it is not possible to cancel the confirmation at customer demand screen. Reason being, once (fully/partially) customer demand is released, the outbound delivery request would get created and then that department handling delivery will not know if you just cancel the demand. Hence, there is no option to cancel demand when demand is released fully.
This is the designed system behavior.
