2541743 - No payload is exported in the MPL bundle with payload tracing

Symptom

When exporting the MPL with Trace Content (as per SAP Note 2451546), you notice that for some reason the payload has not been logged in the MPL bundle.

No "trace" folder with the payloads inside the resulting archive. On a properly generated MPL bundle, you should be able to see the a .jar and a .mpl file, as well as a "trace" folder:
