You've edited a sales quote with the Approval Status as Approved or Revision and after the editing, this status was set to Not Started automatically.

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Sales work center.
- Go to Sales Quote view.
- Open Sales Quote ABC (ABC represents the sales quote ID), which has the Approval Status set as Approved or Revision.
- Press Edit.
- Perform any change.
- The Approval Status changed automatically to Not Started.
This is the system's standard behavior. Once there is a change in a quote, the Approval Status is set to Not Started, as this change might have to be reviewed by the approver.
If you need to edit approved/in revision quotes without reseting the Approval Status, you may contact your implementation manager or approach directly the SAP Cloud Service Center to check the possibility of achieving this with a custom implementation.
