You want to set the default Document Type for Appointments but not for Phone calls and Tasks.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Administrator work centre.
- Open the General Settings tab.
- Select Code List Restriction.
- Click New.
- Select Code to Restrict Document Type for Business Object Activity.
- Open the Default Values tab.
- No Activity types are available in the Control Field Values column.
Since the Document Type is used in many other applications such as Tasks, Phone Calls, etc it is not possible to restrict Code List Restriction configuration for only one Activity.
This is the expected behaviour of the system in the current release of Cloud for Customer.
