2518467 - Time Off - Workflow not getting triggered


For a specific employee the workflow configuration is not working. When the employee enters an absence which should require for manager approval it is showing the message "No Approval Necessary". The workflow is working fine for the same time type when another employee in the same team adds a time off request.

Reproducing the Issue

Steps to reproduce issue:

1. Login to the instance  

2. Proxy as user applying leave

3. Go to My Info> Time Off

4. Select time type and submit.

5. Manager approval should be required. But the leave gets auto approved.


Verify the workflow rule logic and the workflow configuration steps. If everything is fine, verify approver's status in both Employee Central(Job Information) and in "Employee Export" file (User Data File/ Employee Profile) is active.

Please note:

In case the approver is inactive in UDF, the leaves will get auto-approved even though the "No Approver Behavior" is set as "Stop the workflow", as EmployeeTime objects have "Pending Data" set to "No".
