SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics and Planning
WFA on SQL is a prerequiste to use Strategic Workforce Planning, because this planning system is based on the Headcount and Mobility measures.
For Headcount Planning, since it pulls the data only from Employee Central and Position Management, only Employee Central is required and the WFA cube is not a prerequisite.
Note: Strategic Workforce Planning is not available for customers with WFA on HANA. Even if you access Headcount Planning and try to switch to Strategic Workforce Planning, you will get an Application error message.
Licenses and Enablement
Workforce Planning and Headcount Planning cannot be enabled by Customer Support in the backend as it is a paid engagement. The licence is the same for both Strategic Workforce Planning and Headcount Planning, and only one licence is needed for all instances. Please contact your account executive or sales account manager for assistance in getting in touch with SAP Professional Services in order for WFP to be implemented in your company instance.
Note: Workforce Analytics and Workforce Planning have separate licenses.
