2505576 - Error 3702 and Signal 11 intabvar_release() when attempting to drop Table User Defined Function - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • Attempting to drop a Table User Defined Function (TUDF) fails with error 3702 "Cannot drop or replace the <object name> because it is currently in use".
  • There may also be an "Infected with signal 11" error in the tabvar_release() module with a stack trace reported in the ASE errorlog:
