2496580 - How to change your server connectivity details (host/port) in a Java AS server - SAP ASE BS

Symptom

  • SAP AS Java failed to start due to bootstrap process failed which is to establish connection to DB for the sync between with File system.
  • Root exception for bootstrap process:

Exception occurred for component [internal/unkown] of type [unknown]
com.sap.engine.bootstrap.SynchronizationException: Storage access initialization failed due to OpenSQL error.Check if your db driver file is available on the file system or if the user has correct permissions for that file

com.sap.engine.frame.core.configuration.ConfigurationException: Error while connecting to DB.
Caused by: com.sap.sql.log.OpenSQLException: Exception of type java.sql.SQLException caught: JZ006: Caught IOException: java.net.ConnectException: errno: 111 (Connection refused), error: Connection refused (port 4901 to address ::ffff:10.10.10.10).
