You have a Fiori Cloud Edition or an S/4HANA Cloud installation
When you try to maintain data in the secure area, the URL does not contain the right format and cannot be saved:
Furthermore, you cannot enter logon credentials for Fiori in cloud since the client is not available:
- SAP Fiori Cloud Edition
- SAP S/4HANA Cloud
The URL of the Fiori Launchpad for Cloud does not need to be added in the secure area, since the URL can be accessed from inside SAP network, so no HTTP connection is needed.
Same happens with the users: The process for user creation is handled within SAP, there is no need to fill in the secure area.
Do not fill the secure area with HTTP connection or logon data for Cloud incidents. Just make sure to enter the URL of the Fiori Launchpad in the incident description.
