2469619 - Employee name not shown in workflow request when using customer string as type=worker

Employee name is not shown in workflow request when using customer string as type=worker.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Employee Central: Workflow

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure a custom field in Job information with type-worker.
  2. When permission is given, the field is displayed correctly in the UI with the user's First name and Last name.
  3. Configure a workflow involving this field.
  4. Make changed in Job Information to trigger the workflow.
  5. Notice that the user's user id is displayed instead of the user's First name and Last name.
