2450047 - Updating the Mail Sender Name in SuccessFactors Onboarding

Symptom

How to change the mail sender (name) in Onboarding Notifications.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Resolution

  • Reach out to SAP SuccessFactors Cloud Product Support in SAP One Support Launchpad via a Support Incident.
  • In addition, follow the template when creating an incident and provide the needed information below:

Subject: KBA 2450047 - SCR: Updating the Mail Sender Name in SuccessFactors Onboarding
Component: LOD-SF-OBD-EML
Problem Description:

  1. BizX Company ID 
    • [Insert affected instance]
  1. ONB Account ID
    • [Insert affected account]
  1. MailMessengerName
    • [Insert name] e.g. SuccessFactors Onboarding
  1. MailMessenger
    • [Insert address name] e.g. noreply

Implementation Partners and Consultants:

  1. Navigate to SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding back-end
  2. Open target customer account
  3. Click Account Options
  4. Edit MailMessengerName and MailMessenger

Note:

  • Do not change the parameter after the @ sign, as this can cause issues. This parameter will vary based on data center
  • MailMessenger domain name cannot be changed
  • MailMessengerName controls the name displayed in the From field on notification e-mails
