2448421 - How to change the Due Date in a job requisition after you entered the date on the short requisition create page? - Recruiting Management

 • Before the requisition is created, the recruiting user is presented with a short requisition create page to collect some essential details. This page is automatically assembled so it is not possible to add or remove fields from the page, or to re-order the content.

 • Based on this scenario a job requisition gets approved with an estimated Due Date. However, if for some reason the job requisition takes to long to be approved it is possible to make this Due Date option available in the requisition itself in order to extend the date.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

 • In order to capture the Due Date on the requisition the job requisition template should be modified for this purpose. Below is the exact field definition to be added in the Job Requisition template of your instance to have this option available:

<field-definition id="formDueDate" type="date" required="true" custom="false">

<field-label><![CDATA[Form Due Date]]></field-label>

<field-label lang="de_DE_SF"><![CDATA[Form Due Date]]></field-label>

<field-description><![CDATA[Form Due Date]]></field-description>

 • You can change this using Manage Templates or request assistance from a partner or SAP Professional Services who can make the required change in the XML Template.
 • Please note that if you use the "formDueDate" field, you may need to create an email notification for the hiring manager to notify that the Due date has been changed. You can do that in Admin Center >> Recruiting Email Triggers >> Requisition Changed trigger.
 • This field can also be used to send requisition approval reminder notifications using the Document Due Notification template in Admin Center >> E-Mail Notification Templates Settings.
 • Note that formDueDate it's a standard field ID that cannot be disabled. This field will still show on the short requisition create page even if this field is not configured on the Requisition XML.
