- Item Requests disappearing from system after a short time and are no longer appearing in the Item Request report
- SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)
- This is being caused by the Item Request Cleanup automatic process running on a regular schedule with a too narrow threshold defined.
The requests are likely being expired by a system automatic process configured in LMS administration.
You will find the cause of the issue located in System Admin->Automatic Processes->Item Request Clean up.
This automatic process is intended to purge item requests that you identify as no longer valid.
The number of days that you insert in the Thresholdbox determines the requests that the system purges.
For example, if you insert 365 in the Thresholdbox, then the system purges all requests that were made more than 365 days ago.
In the example below this value is set to be only 1 and the APM is running Daily.
The understanding then is that any request older than 1 day would be automatically purged from the system. Meaning all the remaining requests are only from a 24 hour period.
To resolve the issue in this sceanrio please refer to the below screengrab and increase this 'Threshold' to a value of your choosing.
