2435587 - Receiving Error: "Initial Verification failed: Error Code [00-00509]. Description: Passport Number must not be specified (Tracking Id: XXXXXXXXX)" [E-Verify] - Onboarding 1.0

Symptom

When trying to click submit Initial Verification I am not able to proceed due to the error message. See below.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0 - All Versions

Reproducing the Issue

    1. Navigate to SAP SuccessFactors HCM > Onboarding > E-Verify Process
    2. Take the affected candidates activity and submit the initial verification
    3. The following error is received: "Initial Verification failed: Error Code [00-00509]. Description: Passport Number must not be specified (Tracking Id: XXXXXXXXX)"

    Cause

    Passport number needs to be added to the candidates record.

    Resolution

    For Live Customer(s)

    The issue is related to logic in the back-end. This was fixed last 1611 in the year of 2016 and if you still encounter the same error, please ask assistance SAP Product Support.
