2428336 - Get Started button in Employee portal Missing - Onboarding 1.0

Symptom

Configured Get started Button code but Button is not visible for New hire

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0 - All Versions

Reproducing the Issue

1. Configured Button Code in Employee Portal Home page
2. New candidate try to access Employee Portal and finds no Get started button

Cause

  • Incorrect Button code
  • IsLegacy feature turned true

Resolution

Get Started Button is Accessible to New candidate's only , Admin can not configure and expect to see Get started button As HR id of the candidate is used. Please follow the steps below to check the button configuration:

  1. Login to Employee Portal and Edit the page.
  2. On edit mode , click on Source option (first option)
  3. Now, check/edit/add the Button code which is displayed below :

  1. If above is already there and is correct, proceed with next steps
  2. Employee Portal => App setting => IsLegacy 
  3. Value for this feature should be false
