Symptom
After upgrading to Oracle RAC, the host name of the database server has been changed. After making what are believed to be the correct changes to the SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) configuration to implement the change to the Database server, recurring errors appear in the SMP server log:
ERROR#org.jgroups.protocols.SMP_JDBC_PING##anonymous#Timer-4,<pointer to old database>:com.sap.mobile.platform.server.online.admin.backendconnections.cluster.ClusterBackends,<app_server>####null#null#null#error#Other#null#null#00cc2071-46fa-4aad-a845-60aff460a7da#null#1485048864137#null#org.jgroups.protocols.SMP_JDBC_PING:getConnection#Failed creating JDBC connection for SMP_JDBC_PING Cannot get a connection, pool error Timeout waiting for idle objectorg.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot get a connection, pool error Timeout waiting for idle object
The errors seem to indicate that the old database server is still being referenced in the configuration for SAP Mobile Platform.
