The system adds the Country Code automatically in the Mobile field of the Individual Customer which has a country maintained in the Country field.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Customers work center.
- Go to the Individual Customers view.
- Open the Individual Customer ABC, which has a value maintained in the Country field (ABC represents the Individual Customer's ID).
- Add a number in Mobile field.
The Country code is populated automatically.
This is the expected system behavior.
As long as there is only a single field for the Phone Number on the C4C UI that field has to contain all the relevant information. The field considers the information maintained in the Country field and maintains the relevant country code for it.
