2389586 - How to Include Inactive Users in Ad Hoc Reports

Symptom

You want to know how you can include Inactive users in your Ad Hoc report result.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • Ad Hoc Reporting

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the instance
  2. Select Reporting > Analytics > Ad Hoc Reports
  3. Create an Ad Hoc report on a specific domain. e.g. Employee Profile
  4. When you run the report notice Inactive Users are not shown although you would like include them

Cause

The report behaviour is as designed.

Resolution

  • Ad Hoc reports only report on Active Users by default.
  • If you want a report to include Inactive Users, tick the Include inactive users option from the People scope.
  • You can do this as follow:
  1. Select the desired Ad Hoc Report in edit mode
  2. Go to People Scope tab
  3. Tick the Include inactive users option and ok
  4. Save the report
  5. The report should now show the list of inactive Users
